Selling a home that is part of an estate?

Passing Title helps personal representatives and families sell estate and probate property, on the court's timeline. There's no rush and no pressure. When you're ready, we take it from there.

How an estate sale works

Four steps, at the estate's pace

  1. Free value reviewA walkthrough and an honest price range, with no obligation to list.
  2. Cleanout and simple repairsWith the personal representative's approval, we coordinate trusted local crews so the family doesn't have to sort it out from afar.
  3. Listing and showingsWe list once the personal representative has authority to sell, and we handle the showings and offers.
  4. ClosingSale proceeds go to the estate, and we work alongside the estate's attorney to close on schedule.

About

John DiSciullo, Broker

John DiSciullo is a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker with extensive experience as a real estate developer in the state. Developing property taught him what older homes need, what repairs really cost, and what buyers will pay for.

He also spent 30 years as a trial lawyer. That career taught him how court timelines really work and how to keep a slow process moving. Together, those two careers are why Passing Title does estate sales and nothing else.

Passing Title provides real estate brokerage services only. John DiSciullo does not act as a lawyer for Passing Title clients or give them legal advice, and working with Passing Title does not create an attorney-client relationship. For legal questions about the estate, please rely on the estate's own attorney.

Talk whenever you're ready

A short call costs nothing. We can tell you what the property is likely worth and what selling it would involve.
